A few years ago a friend of mine was standing next to a bus that blew up. He said it was like God erected a force field in front of him and over the top of his head. I mean he was right next to the bus and glass, metal, shrapnel all flew around him and over him but nothing wounded him. In fact he didn't think he'd been touched by anything... until he got home. At home when he took his shirt off he found part of a human body on the back of his shirt. Of course he had to get it to the authorities right away (they have a special group that collects all the body parts). It was extremely traumatic for him he suffered from the effects of seeing such unimaginable horrors! I know that many of the survivors of this attack will need a lot of time to heal - physically and emotionally/mentally! Let's continue to pray for them!

Only last week the thought came to me that I have not heard of bombings in Israel for years and wondering what that was about. I gotta pray next time I get thoughts like that.

What do people say the reason is for the long lull in bus bombings, etc. in Israel?

I may be wrong, but I think there have been other bombings in the last year.

There are daily attempts to kill civilians in Jerusalem. The suicide bombers have a great deal of difficulty bringing bombs in past the security barrier, much to the chagrin of the people who hate the separation fence. Also, Israeli security uses a couple different kinds of profiling to catch the terrorists. The most effective is psychological profiling which is very nearly 100% effective. The ongoing investigation includes searches for the source of the bomb, the source of the explosives and the identification of the knapsack. These clues will provide information about the method of getting the bomb to the location and the identity of the group who places and triggered the bomb. It is probably a brand new tactic with a previously unknown terror team. Some suspect that a tunnel allowed the terrorists to move the bomb under the security barrier.
