To be completely fair to Paula White, this is nothing remotely like Long's "coronation". This was not a ceremony, this was Messer using a metaphor about God's word and the Believer. She wasn't "set in as queen", or "crowned" or "carried" or any such thing. This was simply a quick demo on her tv show. That's all it was.
These two instances aren't remotely comparable...and I'm not a huge Paula White fan.
